Why I No Longer Offer Same Day Sessions

I made a pretty big decision this month that has given Me a lot of peace. I no longer offer same day appointments. Some people will tell Me this is a huge mistake. I am aware that this decision will make Me lose some business but I think My sanity is worth it. Here are some of the reasons behind it :

I like being able to get up and plan My day. There’s nothing more annoying than being on a treadmill and having to decide if i’m going to turn down a session and finish My workout, or if I’m going to run home and get ready. I certainly don’t feel in control or Dominant in either of these situations. I hate rushing anywhere but especially to a session. Once I had just gotten to the gym, I don’t think I had been on the treadmill for 5 minutes when My phone rang. I left the gym, rushed home and the client cancelled!! I was so pissed that he not only interrupted My workout but he completely disrupted My day.

If I’m not in session I’m generally doing one of these things : I’m working on My websites, I’m painting, I’m out and about with friends or my dog. None of these are things I want to be interrupted. Some, like editing, involve a creative flow. Having that flow interrupted often means having to scrap the project and start over because your train of thought, your mood and the way you would edit something is completely different from one day to the next. If I’m writing code by hand it is totally disruptive. If I’m painting I’m probably covered in paint so there’s clean up time involved on top of getting fabulous time…

I like the idea of someone planning to see Me vs it being a whim. I don’t want to be at the mercy of your libido. A session with Me (or any good Mistress) should be something a sub looks forward to and thinks about for days. For practical purposes some sessions need preparation like a strap on session. If someone is calling Me on a whim at 5p from his office it’s highly unlikely he’s going to be properly cleaned out. If he books his session days in advance he can plan to fast, to drink cleansing tea the night before and in the morning, do a salt water oral flush and to administer several enemas before arriving. I also like to have that time to think about what I want to do, to make sure all My equipment is ready.

I recently sat on shift in a commercial dungeon and was reminded of how much I hate that dynamic. I don’t want to sit around all day in lingerie listening to other women cackle. I want to wear My latex and other outfits that might take Me 20 minutes to get into. I like to shower right before My sessions. Being clean and fresh helps Me feel more confident, not sitting around in the same clothes and being ready to go like a character in a jack in the box. Crank it up and Insta-Domme pops out! That doesn’t work for Me. There needs to be a build up, that’s part of what makes it exciting. I’m not a fast food restaurant. It’s the difference between eating a filet mignon at a 5 star restaurant and eating a burger at a fast food chain. Given the choice I want to be the filet. You’d never walk up to a fancy restaurant without a reservation. Seeing a Dominatrix of note should be the same type of experience.

I have found that clients who book in advance are more respectful, punctual, and are more serious players. Clients calling and wanting to see you right now tend to treat you like a whore, like they are somehow doing you a favor and you need to jump when they call. Those types tend to be self important, disrespectful and handsy. Fuck that.

There are lots of new rules with regards to booking Me for a session, you can read them on this website in the “Sessions” and “FAQ” sections. They are all there for a reason, so that I can continue to enjoy what I do for a living. They will weed out the wankers, time wasters, people with whom I’m incompatible and people who will make me want to scrub My skin with steel wool after being in a room with them. It’s for your own good, trust Me 🙂
